4 million UK bloggers

Last week saw the annoucment that there are 4 million active bloggers in the UK and more than half of them are female.

I was on the train reading the news in someone else’s paper so that when I searched on line for a source to refer to in this blog entry, I came across some conflict:

Last year in July the Guardian annouced that there were 7 million bloggers in the UK whilst at the same time it was reported that there were only 4 million bloggers in Europe.

Just who are we to believe?!
